Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Asari-Toru, Rivers State. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Your main tasks: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around ₦1,500 per hour, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
