Plant operator (dozer) • Bibb County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Bibb County, Georgia. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. On the job you will handle: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence We offer $120 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
