Delivery truck driver • Garki, Jigawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a delivery truck driver in Garki, Jigawa State. You will work at a container freight yard. Day-to-day duties: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
