Earthmoving equipment operator — Lehigh County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day-to-day duties: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances 6+ years on the tools preferred.
