The role involves carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. Ideal candidate: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Full-time, day shift.
