Argon welder — Okeechobee County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Okeechobee County, Florida. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
