Brick mason • Patani, Delta State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Patani, Delta State. The role involves: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Part-time with flexible hours.
