Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Part-time with flexible hours.
