Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Six days a week, one day off.
