Immediate opening: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Lakhimpur, Assam. Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Current medical and eyesight certificate Rotating shifts.
