Now hiring: we are hiring a dough maker in Seward County, Kansas. The job is at a cake shop. You will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; score the top of loaves before baking; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker 1+ years on the tools preferred.
