We are recruiting: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Blackpool, England. You will be based at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars You should have: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
