Now hiring: gantry crane operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Maverick County, Texas. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
