Join our team: we are hiring a furniture maker in Akinyele, Oyo State. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge You should have: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
