We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Jackson County, Alabama. You will work at a halal meat counter. The role involves: • Season and marinate meat on request • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone Ideal candidate: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler 1+ years on the tools preferred.
