Urgent requirement: we are hiring a butcher in Kaura, Kaduna State. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers The role involves: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts 4+ years on the tools preferred.
