D6/D8 dozer operator wanted in Morris County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Morris County, New Jersey. You will be based at a land-clearing site. The role involves strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; refuel the machine and record running hours; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 5+ years on the tools preferred. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
