Join our team: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Lee County, Virginia. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. The role involves cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Six days a week, one day off.
