Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Yamaltu/Deba, Gombe State. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
