Now hiring: we are hiring a butcher in Teungo, Adamawa State. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Day to day you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone.
