Crawler crane operator • Ajingi, Kano State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Ajingi, Kano State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals Day to day you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams.
