Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — Androscoggin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Androscoggin County, Maine. The role involves: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil What we are looking for: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
