Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day to day you will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation.
