Stainless steel welder • Kwami, Gombe State

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Kwami, Gombe State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
