Rough terrain crane operator — Vanderburgh County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Your main tasks: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines We offer $26 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
