Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Grayson County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
