Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Lee County, Texas. The job is at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Willing to work shifts and overtime On a typical shift you will inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
