Port container crane operator • Ethiope East, Delta State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Ethiope East, Delta State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals Full-time with occasional weekends.
