Canteen cook • Brown County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Brown County, Ohio. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Day to day you will follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs. You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Full-time with occasional weekends.
