Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Madison County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; score the top of loaves before baking; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
