Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in County Durham, England. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter.
