Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
