Immediate opening: crane rigger (Kano State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Sumaila, Kano State. The job is at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
