Hoist operator wanted in Platte County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Platte County, Missouri. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Full-time, day shift.
