Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage The role involves: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions Full-time, day shift.
