Immediate opening: hoist operator (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Barrow County, Georgia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
