Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Manchester, England. You will be based at a landscaping company. On a typical shift you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Rotating shifts.
