Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
