Head baker — Port-Harcourt

Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. You will be based at a busy bakery. You should have: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • 2+ years' experience as a baker The role involves: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Score the top of loaves before baking • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
