Milling machinist — Wasco County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Wasco County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Six days a week, one day off.
