Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. You should bring a keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases; able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
