Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Clay County, Nebraska. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter On the job you will handle: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Season and marinate meat on request • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain 3+ years on the tools preferred.
