Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Wheeler County, Oregon. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
