Rough terrain crane operator — Gilchrist County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Gilchrist County, Florida. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Full-time, day shift.
