Great opportunity: furnace operator (Kaduna State)

Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Giwa, Kaduna State. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
