Garment presser wanted in Davidson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Davidson County, Tennessee. You will work in a garment export house. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Give each garment a final press before packing Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
