Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Bexar County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Six days a week, one day off.
