Crane operator wanted in Taura

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Taura, Jigawa State. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Day to day you will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Six days a week, one day off.
