Hoist operator wanted in Wokingham

Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in Wokingham, England. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work On a typical shift you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
