We are recruiting: estate gardener (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in Wakulla County, Florida. You will work at a landscaping company. On the job you will handle: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
